I used to live near a predominantly muslin neighborhood in Toronto. Whenever I walked my two dogs (Belgian Shepherds) along the main street people would jump out of the way in panic. It was actually quite comical to watch. Muslims (at least a significant component of them) don't seem to like dogs (even though the Koran apparently says it's OK to have them for work related purposes) Tim that money quote said more than you might think. My hope is that this WILL turn into a big stink with lots of bad publicity. I'd be pretty pissed if my offspring or spouse or friend were over there and I found out they were searching for bombs by friggin' DOWSING. I can't imagine many military friends and families will be all too happy to hear about this. And if good science gets a boost in the process, all the better.
